The City of Victorville's Redevelopment and Economic Development Department is chartered with the responsibility of expanding opportunities for affordable, quality housing for all residents. As such, it is particularly engaged in providing quality housing to low-to-moderate income households.

The Department prides itself on partnering with reputable for-profit and non-profit developers, agencies and municipal partners to provide quality housing and a high standard of living for all housing developments in which the Redevelopment Agency is involved. We also pride ourselves on providing programs and opportunities for all existing as well as future Victorville residents. All programs are subject to Redevelopment Agency approval, based on program parameters.

Looking To Purchase a Home?
The City of Victorville's Neighborhood Stabilization Mortgage Assistance Program is offering assistance for up to $20,000 to purchase a home.  Qualified homebuyers must have not owned a home within the last three years and meet income requirements.

Free Homebuyer Education Classes
 
Thursday - August 12, 2010
Saturday - August 21, 2010
 Classes are from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
 
Must register to attend. RSVP Required. Contact the City of Victorville at (760) 955-5032.

A one hour lunch break will be provided.

Attention Loan Officers and Processors
Loan Officer Training - TBA.  This training will provide a summary of the program to include determining eligibility, funding available, and tell you about the process and phases of the program.  This class is a MAP requirement to become a participating lender. RSVP is required.
 
Processor Training - TBA. This is a mandatory training for all processors that work with a participating lender.  This training assures you have general program information and provides an in depth training on how to qualify and determine the amount of assistance for your loan package. RSVP is required.
