Tamara Torres

Redevelopment Housing Manager

Ms. Tamara N. Torres is a housing professional with over 18 years of housing experience in a variety of local governments including the City of San Bernardino, City of Moreno Valley and the Town of Apple Valley. She has administered, created and implemented numerous housing programs over the years. She has extensive experience in administering federal, state and local funds for the creation and expansion of affordable housing opportunities.

Tamara is currently the Redevelopment Housing Manager in Economic Development with the City of Victorville. She has also served on the Board of Directors and Co-Chaired the Program Committee for High Desert Opportunity, an annual regional tradeshow, as well as on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Professional Women. Tamara currently serves on the Board of Directors for the High Desert Resource Network and as the Chair of the Parent Teacher Group Committee for St. Adelaide School.

Tamara is a graduate of San Bernardino Valley College and Southern Illinois University with degrees in Liberal Arts and in Education. She resides in Victorville, CA with her family.
