Mortgage Assistance Program
The Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP) is a homebuyer program designed to assist in the costs of purchasing a home. The MAP is a deferred silent second loan that is repaid with a shared equity at the time of sale, refinance, when the homeowner ceases to occupy the home as their primary residence, or at the end of the loan term (30 years). The City can assist with the amount of down payment and/or closing costs to purchase your home in the City of Victorville.

There are a couple of steps that need to be taken to utilize the program.
The first step is to attend a Homebuyer Education Program. Please contact the Inland Fair Housing Mediation Board at (800) 321-0911 or www.inmedbd.com, the Neighborhood Housing Services of the Inland Empire at (909) 884-6891 or www.nhsie.org, or Neighborhood Partnership Housing Services at (800) 761-6747 or www.NPHousingServices.org. Attending one of these classes will educate you on the process of purchasing and maintaining a home.

The next step is to contact one of our Participating Lenders (link below).
The Participating Lenders will help get the process started. For income guidelines and answers to the most commonly asked question, please download the Mortgage Assistance Program Brochure.
